Beach Attire

Like I mentioned before, I have total warm weather eyes going on right now. Here is another beach inspired outfit...Mexico ready as ready as I am ready. hehe.
I'm getting married this week! It's really happening. I'm the happiest and luckiest girl on the earth.

Outfit details:

It's my go to color for just about everything and I can't get enough of it.
I love a good white palate. In preparations for marriage the past few weeks, I've collected a few things that all just happen to be the loveliest shade of clean silky white.

With Alan moving in after we get married, I wanted to update our bedding seeing as I can't remember the last time I bought myself a new pair of sheets. Haha. I ended up with a pair of sheets and a duvet cover from a company called Cariloha. They're made from Bamboo which I thought was awesome and they're like sleeping on silk. Kinda funny, it took me an entire week just to take them out of the packaging. They were just so white and perfect and flawless! But I braved it, washed them up nicely and oh man...I slept on them like a whittttleeee baby.
I have to also mention this amazing mudcloth pillow I recently got from D&K Renewal
It's not white but I love that it adds some dimension to the stark whiteness of my comforter. It pairs perfectly with this Turkish kilim pillow I got on eBay and my estate sale find vintage blanket. There are a few other items on their website I'm dreaming of owning. Look at THIS little beauty and THIS too!!

So Alan and I will be married in the Logan LDS temple. Inside the temple, we only wear white. I love that about being in the temple. I love that it brings equality to everyone when you're inside. There are no judgements. Everyone is dressed in their own versions of white. You don't know the status of someone's everyday life. Whether they're poor or rich, it doesn't matter and it all stays outside of the temple.  My wedding dress is actually a champagne color, so I won't be wearing it during our ceremony. I got a simple white dress from The Perfect White Dress to wear during the ceremony and feel it will be perfect for me.

I had to add something a little fun to this post. hehe.  Every newly wed needs a couple of fun nighties.
I love how simple this little number is yet the lace adds some elegance to it. I got it from Designer Intimates.
PS this one just so happens to be on sale! And....use code "run15" for 15% off your purchase on their website!!

Any white lovelies catching your eyes these days? Do share...

Just 8 more days until our big day. Ahhh....It's really getting here! Can't wait!

Color by Amber Arm Party

This outfit feels very festive... What can I say? I love my country! hehe.

Don't you loved these stacked bracelets from Color by Amber? My favorite is the map one. I was introduced to this company by my good friend Gentri. I love what they're about. They employ artisans from all over the world. Every piece is handmade locally. It's known as "ecojewelry" because they use recycled items as interlayers for the jewelry. So 40% of these beauties are recycled materials. I just love how unique their jewelry is and how incredibly comfortable it is to wear.

I'm excited to team up with Color by Amber on my instagram (@runstylerun) to give away a $100 giftcard. Head over there to enter!

The minute March hits and that sun teases us with its rays, I immediately get those warm weather eyes. Just giddy for the summer activities I always love. Boating, exercising outside, park dates, hiking, and those fun road trips! With a honeymoon coming up quick I've been excitedly searching for fun beach attire. Where better to look than Billabong who is all about beach fun, and the sun.

Obsessed with this dress. It's perfect for me because I can easily wear it as an everyday dress with a cardigan or jacket....Thennnnnnn perfectly wear it over a swimsuit to the beach. It's double lined too which I love as I prefer not to have a see through swim suit coverups. Not to mention my number one is always comfort. It's coming to Mexico with me no doubt. A cute swimming suit duo from Billabong is also coming with me. Lets just hope I don't blind anyone with my winter white skin. hehehe.

Rustic, Romantic, Elegant

As Alan and I discussed how we wanted our wedding to be, we mutually agreed we really wanted to keep things simple. I had been dreaming of a rustically romantic setting. Not like burlap and cowboy boots rustic, but more lace and lavender rustic with a romantic feel.  I wanted to incorporate vintage and have it feel elegant. So with this in mind, I began searching the web for invitation inspiration. Using key words like elegant rustic or vintage inspired. But I didn't want anything super busy. I so happily ended up working with an Etsy shop called Emily Frances Design. This was something I was a little nervous doing. It seemed at first easier to be able to be face to face with someone telling them what I wanted. Emily and I chatted on the phone and she agreed to custom make our invitations with the spurts of ideas I knew I wanted incorporated in them. She was ever so willing to make the exact invitation that I wanted and she delivered ten fold. Every little nitpick I had she was willing to make them exactly perfect. She made the invitation of my dreams. Alan loved them too....Although he is really supportive of anything that I seem to like. He's great like that. hehe. Emily literally had the invitations done in 3 weeks. And this is including and enduring my 100 emails I sent back and forth about this and that. I love them. They're exactly what I wanted and I would send anyone to her in a heart beat. Here they are!!

Emily was such a dream to work with.... She is so sweet and offered a discount to anyone who may be in need of invites. 10% off using code 'runstylerun' good until July 31st, 2016. She will make anything!!  Tell all your friends... I always love supporting small businesses and she deserves the support!!

See you in just 15 short days Mexico!

On February 28, 2016 the love of my life, Alan Frank Walker Jr. asked me to be his forever. I have never known such happiness as I do right now. I can't wait to be Mrs. Brandi Walker.

Celeste Nield Photography helped capture our love in our engagement photos and I could not be more pleased with them. I'm super excited to finally share them with you. There were so many I loved, I couldn't even narrow it down much haha....So be ready to see lots of mushy gushiness cuz man do I love kissing this fella!!
Alans eyes are my favorite feature. Their blueness entrances me. There have been too many times to count that I've had to catch my breath when he looks at me. Sounds cheesy I know...But guys, I live on cheese. Cheese and fries and ice cream.
Gosh he's handsome. I get butterflies just thinking about him now.
April 30, 2016 is the big day. Just 17 short days away.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the fun things I've been doing in preparation. Over the next couple weeks before our wedding, stay tuned for a few fun prep details. I'll be sharing our invitations, travel wear, and more!

PS I've had a ton of people ask about my lace dress. It's from Shabby Apple and it's even more stunning in person. Pssssttt.... it's on sale!
