Adventures Await

I went a little print happy with this look hehe. I love mixing prints! And even better I love layering. Since it's still warmish around these parts...Having a blanket scarf is just enough to be able to layer but not be too warm. Not for long though for me! I'm heading to Brazil for the month of October! I don't know if I will be able to blog much but I sure will be updating my instagram @runstylerun as much as I can and also snapchat @blonde_brandi--- so make sure you follow along there. Adventures await!!

What's the Overall Consensus?

Picked up these fun Free People overalls second hand at Uptown Cheapskate recently. I think they're the perfect color for fall and such a fun fit. I can't quite decide if I can pull off overalls or not! I've owned a million styles and brands of them...And I just do not even know how I feel about them!! Give me your opinion....

Look #2 with Savers

Ok so I promised another look put together with a few items I found at Savers Thrift Store
Lets just start with this backpack. Yep. Brand new Herschel backpack I found at Savers for $6.
Moccasins are also second hand. I found them like new as well and they're my favorite brand of moccasins--Minnetonka. Lastly is this jacket. It's one of my favorites. It's vintage 90's Gap. I love the fit, the color...Everyone must own a denim jacket and mine just so happened to be only $4. A staple that didn't break my bank account hehe. (Cuz lets be honest I have splurged on staple items in the past.) As I'm writing this post, I already have the itch to go back and see what I can find today. haha

Outfit details:
Bag, shoes and jacket are thrifted from Savers, Joes denim (old), and Madison and Sixth tee.

Transitioning into Fall with Savers

I have teamed up with Savers thrift store and three other gorgeous ladies who also love to thrift, @karlareed on instagram, Simply Audree Kate, and Amy's Vintage Closet to share a few fun Fall looks compiled of second hand treasures from Savers. I love shopping at Savers. They have half price days and also do special half price discount days throughout the year. You can donate a bag and get a coupon. The stores are always clean and well stocked.
The weather is changing and first thing that I pull out are my boots!! I can never get enough boots in my wardrobe. Pair a cute summer dress with some denim and ankle boots and you can easily transition that dress from one season to the next. As it gets cooler I may add a grandpa cardigan or leather jacket! Fall is no doubt my favorite season for fashion.

I'll share a few more looks as the week progresses with items I've found at Savers so stay tuned!!
