Getting in Shape with Albion Fit + A Giveaway!

You may or may not know that back in 2008 I decided to serve a mission for the LDS Church . At the time I was a personal trainer and in the best shape of my life. I would train for and run 2 marathons a year, I was participating in boot camp classes and also teaching them every Saturday with a group of friends, doing yoga, lifting weights regularly, dancing, etc. So from 2009-2010 for 18 months I served down in Brazil as a missionary. It was the most amazing time of my life! I could go on and on about how much I loved it. It definitely did take a tole on my body as I'm sure most missionaries can relate. You lose yourself so much in the marvelous work you're doing, you literally forget yourself. I still worked out while I was there and we walked everywhere but it was not as vigorous and as for my diet we ate what was given to us...Grateful as you can possibly imagine for that. I didn't technically gain "weight" while I was there, my weight stayed the same......

The Best of Best Days

I had one of the best of best days this week. I mean, I was giddy with happiness the entire day... ^^ I started by going to the Lords house in the morning. A place that makes me feel better inside and out.^^ ^^ I had some time before my hair appointment so I had lunch at the park (which included an ice cream cone FIRST) ^^ Outfit ENTIRELY thrifted^^ ^^Going to the park with a good read is going to be something I will miss most about the summer.^^ ^^ This is the before picture. I will not be revealing the outcome just yet. ^^A literal rats nest on top of my head. Brushing it out was sure fun.^^ My sister Jennifer does my hair and has for years. She isn't afraid to try something new and she is amazing at perfecting exactly what you want. I receive a lot of questions and compliments about my hair so if you live in the Idaho Falls area, she is the mastermind behind it all. Feel free to call Carlisle Beaut...

Currently Crushing

It's so crazy how when seasons change, your mind set for inspiration changes. Don't get me wrong...I'm still so attracted to chunky sweaters and boots. This is actually the time I LOVE to purchase those items because they're all on sale and in abundance. Thrift stores are chocked full of perfect sweaters and boots. But I thought I would share items I'm dreaming about this season... via This look pretty much sums it all up. Summery hats, white tops, bell bottoms, and wedges. via via via Clogs and Haurache sandals... Can I have a pair in every color and style? via These pants though?? I'm loving the high waisted, pajama type pants. So fun and flattering but best of all looks so comfy! via Lets just say Madewell does everything right. These overalls, the fun boho top, and cognac sandals...This whole look I crush on. via Dresses over jeans...and slouchy large bags. via Just dressses in general! Embroidered, moo m...
