The Best of Best Days

I had one of the best of best days this week. I mean, I was giddy with happiness the entire day... ^^ I started by going to the Lords house in the morning. A place that makes me feel better inside and out.^^ ^^ I had some time before my hair appointment so I had lunch at the park (which included an ice cream cone FIRST) ^^ Outfit ENTIRELY thrifted^^ ^^Going to the park with a good read is going to be something I will miss most about the summer.^^ ^^ This is the before picture. I will not be revealing the outcome just yet. ^^A literal rats nest on top of my head. Brushing it out was sure fun.^^ My sister Jennifer does my hair and has for years. She isn't afraid to try something new and she is amazing at perfecting exactly what you want. I receive a lot of questions and compliments about my hair so if you live in the Idaho Falls area, she is the mastermind behind it all. Feel free to call Carlisle Beaut...

Getting in Shape with Albion Fit + A Giveaway!

You may or may not know that back in 2008 I decided to serve a mission for the LDS Church . At the time I was a personal trainer and in the best shape of my life. I would train for and run 2 marathons a year, I was participating in boot camp classes and also teaching them every Saturday with a group of friends, doing yoga, lifting weights regularly, dancing, etc. So from 2009-2010 for 18 months I served down in Brazil as a missionary. It was the most amazing time of my life! I could go on and on about how much I loved it. It definitely did take a tole on my body as I'm sure most missionaries can relate. You lose yourself so much in the marvelous work you're doing, you literally forget yourself. I still worked out while I was there and we walked everywhere but it was not as vigorous and as for my diet we ate what was given to us...Grateful as you can possibly imagine for that. I didn't technically gain "weight" while I was there, my weight stayed the same......

Cardigan-Bohme Blouse and Cowl- Old Navy Jeans- H&M Mocs- Minnatonka Bag-Coach Glasses-AE Watch- MK Jewelry-Thrifted So..I've made a new goal for myself and I'm sharing it with you all cuz if I do I have to follow through! I am not going to buy anything new until I have shared the best portion of my closet. I'm really going to try to go the next month without buying one new thing! This will be difficult for me but I really need to start saving my penny's! School starts in about 2 months!!! Its creeping up on me! It will also force me to be creative with what I have...which is a lot mind you! So for the next month nothing that I will be wearing is anything new...it will all be anything I have bought before today 2-7-12. Just keep telling me I can do it ;) And hey...if you have any advice for me or ideas...let me know! I love getting your emails and feed...
