The Best of Best Days

I had one of the best of best days this week. I mean, I was giddy with happiness the entire day... ^^ I started by going to the Lords house in the morning. A place that makes me feel better inside and out.^^ ^^ I had some time before my hair appointment so I had lunch at the park (which included an ice cream cone FIRST) ^^ Outfit ENTIRELY thrifted^^ ^^Going to the park with a good read is going to be something I will miss most about the summer.^^ ^^ This is the before picture. I will not be revealing the outcome just yet. ^^A literal rats nest on top of my head. Brushing it out was sure fun.^^ My sister Jennifer does my hair and has for years. She isn't afraid to try something new and she is amazing at perfecting exactly what you want. Currently Crushing

It's so crazy how when seasons change, your mind set for inspiration changes. Don't get me wrong...I'm still so attracted to chunky sweaters and boots. This is actually the time I LOVE to purchase those items because they're all on sale and in abundance. Thrift stores are chocked full of perfect sweaters and boots. But I thought I would share items I'm dreaming about this season... via This look pretty much sums it all up. Summery hats, white tops, bell bottoms, and wedges. via via via Clogs and Haurache sandals... Can I have a pair in every color and style? via These pants though?? I'm loving the high waisted, pajama type pants. So fun and flattering but best of all looks so comfy! via Lets just say Madewell does everything right. Style Flash

My style lately: Two jackets I found thrifting. A vintage Gap denim jacket and a genuine leather Mango jacket!! I love both and love that they're both basic essential pieces. Yay! I got right to styling the leather jacket. Tee is Everlane which I also found at a thrift store and shoes are a thrift find from my friend Karla. Hat is from Nordstrom Rack ($10!!), J Brand denim, and bag is Anne B Design . See my shoes? They're Jeffrey Campbell and believe it or not... THRIFTED! I scooped them up in a second and of course they were my size. Woot woot. Thrifted and vintage coat, Madewell denim, JCrew oxfords, thrifted and vintage Dooney and Bourke bag. Repeat offender with this hat from Nordstrom Rack. Maybe all winter too. It is my favorite color to wear with everything and so warm and comfy! I recently got this watch from Daniel Wellington !
