Wanna Be Do Gooder Here

Double sided plaid blanket scarf and the most comfy amazing leather moccasin boots ever ever. I think I'll just go take a nap in this.

This amazing scarf from Bungalow 123 is only $32 and so worth every penny. Even better use code 'runstylerun' for 15% off! Get one before they sell out. (Because I promise you they will...) You'll love it I promise.

My boots are another story. A good one. They're from a small company called Buyamba whos tag line is "helping souls in need." The brand was created to help people in need and I was absolutely touched by that. Read more of their lovely story HERE. I hope you know this about me...And if you don't, you'll know it now. I want to help make a difference. I want to make small daily differences in the world. Maybe I'll only effect one person but you know what? I'm happy it will be that one person. Cuz I do know one thing....that one person knows other people. We don't know what good we can do unless we just do it! "Better by far to be good and courageous and bold and to make a difference. Not change the world exactly, but the bit around you." -David Nicholls. Being a fashion blogger as well,  I love to come across a company thats foundation is to help! There is so much sadness, poverty, and suffering in the world...We can look for things in our daily life to help better that even if it's something like spending a little more on a beautifully crafted unique pair of shoes that are made to help create jobs. And guys... EVERY time I wear these boots,  male or female, I get compliments. I'm so happy to be able to share with them where I got them and the story behind this company.

  1. I really liked how you said that you don't mind if you make a difference in just one person's life, because that person might make a difference in someone else's because of it. That's such a beautiful way to think. Usually we get caught up in the numbers, and something loses its value if it doesn't reach a huge amount of people. But one person is always more than enough. It was really nice to hear someone else share that sentiment :)
