I'm Just Me

It's been a little while since I've felt motivated to put together anything really and do the blog thing. I've been thinking so often about the whole idea of posting photos of "myself" on my blog. I never want to come across as vain. I don't post them because I think I'm beautiful and want everyone to look at me. I just love fashion. I love putting together looks that I find unique. I love to smile and share happiness. I like to inspire and be inspired. I enjoy supporting small businesses. I like to see others succeed. I love art and photography and I look at what I do as a form of art for sure. I hope that comes across in what I like to share on this little platform of mine. I just want "me" and a little bit of my story to come out in my photos....Which is what I told Travis J Photography when we first met. I told him I'm not a model. I'm just me. Really a nobody in this great big world but someone that people can hopefully relate to in some small way. Of course I don't really mean that I'm a nobody. I'm a daughter of God and that is something special. And that's what I want my photos to reflect. It's always something I'm trying to figure out but I sure think that Travis did an amazing job. I can't wait to share his work over the next few weeks.

My jacket is from @sorellaselitefashion on Instagram. They're a small boutique out of Arizona. For now they're just selling on Instagram (ship anywhere in the U.S.) and to order just call 928-428-1711. This jacket is the Heathered Boucle Coat. I'm wearing a small for reference. It is such a fun 80's inspired jacket/blazer.

  2. I agree with everything here. SOmetimes it can see so weird to "fashion blog", but I feel like it is so much more, and it makes me happy and gives me a creative outlet. Plus, I've found that the little things, like sharing a story, or a great piece of clothing, is what connects is. Loved this;)

  5. I am obsessed with your blog friend. I always look forward to each new post. And I am the same when I tell people about my blog. When they say "what do you blog about?" I always hesitate when I say it's mostly fashion. I shouldn't care so much. It is a fun creative outlet where I can just so happen to share one of my passions! I love your style. Love love that you thrift. I relate so much to each of your posts. Thanks for stopping by!!
