8 Reasons to Drink Dandelion Root Tea

There are MANY benefits from drinking Dandelion Root tea... But I found on Mind Body Green (By the way,  I LOVE this website) 8 of the TOP reasons:

It eases congestion of the liver.
It helps to purify the bladder and kidneys.
It reduces the risk of urinary tract infections.
It contains calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium, vitamins B and C.
It helps to purify the blood, regulate blood sugar and improves blood circulation.
It helps to ease bloating and aching joints.
It helps to cure skin conditions.
And my personal favorite... It improves digestion and aids weight loss.

Some people can't handle the taste of the tea. I add a little bit of low sugar cranberry juice and a tad of lemon juice and I actually really like it! Knowing the awesome benefits to drinking it also makes the taste worth it to me.

Even Shape says it's "a good option if you're looking for ways to detox and debloat. It's generally safe with minor side effects of upset stomach and diarrhea."

Does anyone else have an herbal tea that they are in love with that also provide amazing benefits? I am all ears!

These are my own own opinions. Obviously if you question anything to do with  your health you should consult a physican or professional.

Dandelion Root(Taraxacum officinale) used in medicines and the leaves are not medically used. The chief constituents

of Dandelion root are Taraxacin, acrystalline, bitter substance, of which the yield varies in roots collected at
different seasons, and Taraxacerin, an acrid resin, with Inulin (a sort of sugar which replaces starch in many of the

Dandelion family,Compositae), gluten, gum and potash.Dandelion Root provides vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D and

vitamin B complex, as well as zinc, iron and potassium. Because of its iron content, it is widely used as a remedy for

liver ailments, and has a diuretic effect that can help rid the liver of toxins.
