McCall and I went running last night.
Technically it was my off day but we decided to take advantage of the nice evening. We ran a short run and did some endurance exercises. Here's what we did....
We ran 2.5 miles at a 9:14 pace
Then did 4 rounds of this:
20 side together side steps
20 skips forward
20 seconds running backwards
Next was plank for 1 minute adding on 30 seconds of twists by hovering one knee at a time over the ground. Of course always keeping our abs and back as straight as a board.
Last we did Superman. This is a good one for that back fat that likes to hang over your jeans. Starting out, do just one arm one leg opposites (left arm right leg) pulse without touching the ground then switch to the other side. To finish off do all four (as seen in picture) We did 25 pulses each with a hold of about 15 seconds after each one. Hopefully this one will get us closer to being strong like Superman. Wouldn't that be cool??
Honestly we only worked at the most 45 minutes. We used our time effectively and got a good workout!! Anyone have some favorite ab workouts they like to do? How about running drills?
