Patience and an Imagination

Sweater- Thrifted   White under tank- Ross   Jeans- H&M   Loafers- Thrifted   Watch- DKNY  Trench-Thrifted  Ring- Thrifted
This sweater was that sweater that I looked at on the hanger and thought..."Hmmm, maybe?" It's a sweater most people would overlook but I decided to give it a chance. And I decided, I love it and can't wait to wear it all through the Fall and Winter. Plus, it's vintage and it was $4. If I could give you one work of advice about thrifting it's this. Don't overlook things. Go in with a lot of patience and a little bit of an imagination.  At the same time, don't buy something you don't love. I have bought a few things at thrift stores thinking I could maybe make it work...and NO, sometimes they're meant to stay at the thrift store. Other times, you have a new found treasure that no one else will EVER have. Thats my favorite part! I have to tell you about these loafers as well...but another time...

I gotta get back to watching Vampire Diaries! hehe..

  1. I have learned this the hard way too...I've bought too many things thinking I could make them work and then they end up sitting in my closet forever. I think the sweater is awesome! Nicely done.
