What She Wears//Monochromatic Edition

March is here!

For "What She Wears" this month... We chose the challenge to share "Monochromatic."

This one was actually pretty fun for me. I am so weird when it comes to matching...Like I don't want my outfits to match too much. I want it to go together but I don't want be too matchy matchy... I'm weird. Soooo...I just didn't even worry about it and tried to match up the colors I wore from head to toe!

Are you allowed to have cognac as your favorite color? Because I LOVE to wear it. I would definitely name it as my favorite color to wear.

And this bag? I know you've seen it more than enough...But it is my ideal bag. Perfect size, easy to carry, and my "favorite color to wear." hehe...

Thrifted top (mens section), thrifted sweater Liz Claiborne, Madewell bag, Frye oxfords

It has been raining all day today. I got a few moments of light sprinkles to take a few photos in my grandparents lovely backyard. You have no idea how many times I have stood in this exact spot throughout my life. So many amazing memories...

  3. I am the SAME way about matching too much, it just feels weird. I really like to have elements that are a little "off" about a look, you know?

  4. I think you managed monochromatic with difference here. There is enough texture and pattern and shade variance to make a great outfit. Thanks so much for hosting!!

  5. YESSS I do the same thing.. match but not toooo much. Sometimes I'd rather it not match at all than be too matchy matchy... but you look fabulous as always and I'm loving those shoes!! ;)
