How to be Casual yet Comfy without Looking Frumpy with Kohl's

Comfort is key for me when it comes to fashion. I love trying new trends and styles but no matter what, I want to feel comfortable. Most days I want to wear the comfiest pair of shoes I have. Something as close to my house slippers as I can get haha. These two pair of shoes are as comfy as they come. I thought it would be fun to challenge my style by putting together a couple of looks that are extremely casual without looking frumpy! Fashionable yet very functional. These New Balance sneakers from Kohl's are an athletic shoe but are so cute to wear as a casual, everyday shoe! I find this color so versatile with my more neutral toned wardrobe. It's fun to add a bit of color to make a look a little more interesting. Please note: this color is only available in-store! Here I am wearing a simple tee and jeans, the comfiest zip up jacket, and adding the mauve New Balance Fresh Foam Sport sneakers and a nice scarf makes this look look more complete, put together, and stylish!

Now this next look is as close to pajamas and house slippers as they come. haha. That is, the comfort level is there but I still feel stylish and put together. Most importantly, I feel WARM! These Koolaburra by UGG® boots are like wrapping your feet in your favorite teddy bear. haha. I have already found myself, as the weather has turned cold, grabbing for them constantly. First, they're so easy to slip on and secondly, they're a glorified house slipper, aka, they're heaven to your feet. They're cute, comfortable, AMAZING quality (especially for the super affordable price) and I LOVE the versatile color. I wear a size 8.5 in shoes and I sized down to the size 8. They're a perfect fit! This look is so easy with an oversized sweater, a textured t-shirt, my favorite straight leg jeans, and these incredibly comfy Koolaburra by UGG® boots. I added a long necklace to style up the simple look and I love how it turned out.
