“And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this
is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!"
"...He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
......Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
I am me because of Him and what I strive to live like to please my Heavenly Father is because of Him... I love knowing that. Knowing that when I feel alone, I'm not alone. He is there. He is walking along side me. He often carries me...Just as He did in his mortal life, He does now...
I have to share the lyrics to one of my very favorite primary children songs "He sent His Son"...The words are true through and through and absolutely beautiful:
"How could the Father tell the world of love and tenderness?
He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness.
How could the Father show the world the pathway we should go?
He sent his Son to walk with men on earth, that we may know.
How could the Father tell the world of sacrifice, of death?
He sent his Son to die for us and rise with living breath.
What does the Father ask of us? What do the scriptures say?
Have faith, have hope, live like his Son, help others on their way.
What does he ask? Live like his Son."
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"
Easter is such a special time to reflect and remember the life and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. To know that He lived and died for us and lived again. He was the perfect example of what we should all strive to be in our lives. I am so grateful for that example and for the comfort I receive in knowing that we can be forgiven for our sins because of what the Savior did...Because He lived. That makes me beyond happy... Gives my life purpose.

Listen to it
sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
And then listen to it again. So beautiful..Brought the best kind of tears to my eyes.
"...He is risen..."
